Primary Job Function:

• Develop data warehouse and data mart models using modeling tool
• Craft data architecture subject areas for implementation with minimal guidance
• Develop plans to standardize legacy data sources in order to move to a unified enterprise data structure
• Assist in data analysis and metadata management
• Review, understand and document the current product processor data sources to document and design dataflow and ETL process maps, including metadata
• Work closely with data stewards to understand business metadata
• Identify and enforce data standards to ensure consistent and maintainable application metadata

Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
• Data warehousing experience with successful Enterprise design efforts
• In-depth knowledge of dimensional modeling and other data warehouse design techniques required
• Financial industry experience (most highly desired)
• Excellent analytical abilities used to craft unique data solutions to support business processes. Manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Expert at problem solving, with a high degree of analytical skills
• Expert in data sourcing & data mapping skills
• Proficient in data modeling tools - preferably Erwin
• Capable of being an individual contributor and working as part of a team
• Strong knowledge about RDBMS, including SQL, preferably with ORACLE
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration
• Experience in complete data warehouse development cycle including ETL tools
• Unix system administration experience a plus
• Strong experience with SIEBEL Analytic Admin tools, SIEBEL Answers and knowledge of using SIEBEL Tools
• Good working knowledge of building and configuring a SIEBEL Analytics repository and unifying data across the enterprise is essential
