• Should be able to take complete ownership for the delivery of the project
• Effectively guide a team of 12 resources (onsite in Athens and offshore in India) in delivering the project requirements. Prior exposure to managing offshore teams will be preferred
• Effectively interface with the customer’s IT teams in understanding their expectations and fulfilling them. Will also be the SPC of all operational and strategic aspects of the engagement, and interact with senior management at the customer’s end
• Participate in the preparation/review of the functional specifications and detailed design of the project, and provide the necessary technical/functional guidance to the team

• Technical skills in AS/400 (COBOL/400, CL/400, DB2/400)
• Considerable experience in managing projects in the AS/400 area, with excellent project management skills
• Excellent technical skills in the design and development of AS/400 applications
• Considerable experience in working on banking applications (preferably in investment banking)
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English
