• Effectively interface with the customer’s IT teams in understanding the project requirements
• Preparation/review of the functional specifications and detailed design of the project
• Interface effectively with the offshore development team for clarifications, and provide the necessary technical/functional guidance
• Undertake functional testing of the deliverables to ensure adherence to requirements

• Technical skills in AS/400 (COBOL/400, CL/400, DB2/400)
• Considerable experience in IT, with predominant experience in the AS/400 technology
• Excellent technical skills in the design and development of AS/400 applications
• Significant exposure to requirements gathering, analysis and writing functional specifications for projects in the banking domain (preferably in investment banking)
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English
